Details

In the event that you've added new tags to your PLC, you've verified all PLC syntax is correct, but you do not see the new data points within the driver configuration, one resolution could be to manually regenerate the .aaTDB file so the driver will have the latest information from the PLC.

  1.  Verify the timestamp on your .aaTDB file first. If the timestamp is current, this may not be the best approach to resolve the issue.
The path to the file is C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\OI-Server\$Operations Integration Supervisory Servers$\OI.ABCIP\CIPTagDB\*.aaTDB
  2. If your timestamp is not current, the latest tag additions may not be apart of this file. Make a copy or rename the file, then delete it.
  3. Restart your OI.ABCIP instance, then check the file location again. You should see an updated .aaTDB file in the location that should contain the latest from the PLC.
