This Tech Note explains the simple steps to create an acknowledge button for alarms in InTouch

  1. InTouch WindowMaker click on the Drawing Tool Button option and place this on your Window.
  2. Double Click the Button and the InTouch Animations Menu appears. Select the Touch Pushbuttons - Action Button as seen below.
  3. The Scripting Editor appears as seen below.
  4. Click the Functions - All Button then select the almAckSelect Function.
  5. The script line will appear and you will need to replace the below attributes then click OK and OK again.

    ObjectName = The name of your Alarm Control ActiveX
    Comment = Can be any string
