Trying to create a galaxy on a new pc, but the dropdown list of available galaxy types is blank.

This will occur if the default galaxy backups were not copied to the PC's hard drive during installation. This can be confirmed by navigating to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ArchestrA\Framework\Bin\BackupGalaxies.
If there are no .cab files in the folder, then this is the problem.
To fix this, go into the installation media and copy the .cab files from the "Framework\Bin\BackupGalaxies" folder.
When completed, the BackupGalaxies folder on the hard drive should contain at minimum the following files:
