When attempting to launch Application Server, you may run into a situation where the galaxy will not load. It will generate a message that says, Connection to the Service has not been established. ArchestrA IDE will shut down.

This could be due to the ArchestrA Watchdog Service not being started.
- Navigate to the Services menu by going to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services.
- Select and start the ArchestrA Watchdog Service.
You should now be able to connect to the galaxy in the ArchestrA IDE.
