Details

With the introduction of online licensing in System Platform 2017, a server configuration file was created to correspond with the license server. It will be necessary at times to manually change the host name/server name if the license manager is not reading it correctly.

 

1. Navigate to:

C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\Licensing

  1. Backup the ServerConfig.xml file.

 

  1. Open the file in an editor (Such as Notepad).

  1. Edit desired fields (such as HostName and HostId) and save as a .XML file without renaming it.
