All licenses from Wonderware contain a serial numbers. This is how to read what the numbers mean.

The numbers before the hyphen identify who purchased the license and what products the license is for. When looking to upgrade a license, it is very useful to have the number available.

The numbers after the hyphen represents how many times this particular licensed has been generated. This also includes how many times the license has been upgraded. This is important to ensure you are using the proper license file.
