The following error message is sometimes seen when attempting to install Wonderware applications from downloaded zip file format media. It is necessary to extract the contents of the compressed file before the installation.
This issue is resolved by unblocking the content before starting the extract from the compressed file. Right click on the zip file to select and open the properties dialog.
Click on the Unblock button to disable the security feature that is blocking the file since it came from another computer. This is intended to help protect the computer, but some of the required contents are not extracted from the file until the Unblock is selected.
