TN WIN911 Migrating WIN-911 Software from Version 6.x to 7.x

Details
The first step is to retrieve the serial number. Hold the shift key down while starting Scan and Alarm.
The next step is to back up the configuration files as listed below.
C:\WINNT\TeleDAC.INI
C:\Program Files\TeleDAC\Configuration Files\*.MDB
C:\Program Files\TeleDAC\Sound Files\*.WAV
Install the WIN-911 software. Uninstall the old WIN-911 software, if upgrading the existing hardware. Run Setup.exe from the installation CD.
Click on the WIN-911 button.
Click Next >
Select the radio button to accept the terms and then click on the Next > button.
Enter the User Name and Organization and then click on the Next > button.
Click on the Install button.
Click on the OK button to continue with the install, if prompted.
Click on the Finish button to complete the installation.
Copy in the configuration files that were backed up previously. The new folder names are listed below.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Specter Instruments\WIN-911 V7\TeleDAC.INI
C:\Program Files (x86)\Specter Instruments\WIN-911 V7\Configuration Files\*.MDB
C:\Program Files (x86)\Specter Instruments\WIN-911 V7\Sound Files\*.WAV
Open the WIN-911 Configurator to adjust the program paths.
Select Global | Options from the menu.
Update the paths as necessary. WIN-911 may now be tested by generating some alarms from InTouch.
Note: The grace period on the license is 30 days. Install the new license when available.
