033704 - Historian Client not finding served license

Problem

Customer installed Historian Client, along with a new ArchestraServer.lic file. Now when he tries to run trend it goes into Demo mode, with the following message in the license status: "License server system does not support this feature."

OS: Win 2003

OS_SP: SP2

Solution

We had to restart the Archestra Logger Service. Once restarted it reread the OPT file and it started working correctly. If you do not restart the service/computer, the OPT file is reread only every 12 hours.
