Using Historian 9 with Historian Client 10.1 (on different PCs). Historian Client is unable to connect to the historian, saying "Unable to reach insql historian server. Maker sure the insql historian server is running." Pinging the Historian PC does work successfully.

Found that the Windows Firewall was turned on on the system, and is controlled by IT. The tech note linked to below gives a list of the ports which must be open for communications to work correctly: http://www.insourcess.com/techsuppor...tes/TN_045.pdf
