72080 - Unable to connect to a terminal server remote fromthe terminal server on which Thin Manager is running.

Problem

After configuring Thin Manager the client fails to connect to a terminal server.

Solution

Customer discovered that Thin Manager must be configured for that workstation to point to the Terminal Server that it needs to connect to. Then when the Thin Client boots, it asks for the IP address of the Thin Manager. It then connects to Thin Manager which directs it to connect to the configured Terminal Server.
