Introduction to Dream Report 4.6 Workshop
The Introduction to Dream Report 4.6 workshop is a 1-day, hands-on instructor-led class
designed to get students “up and running” with Dream Report, and building basic reports with
Wonderware data sources.
Dream Report is the leading programming-free, user-friendly reporting solution specifically for
industrial and process automation. It was designed to be the simplest solution to extract data
from almost any control system (PLC’s, HMI’s, standard protocols), process Historians, and
open databases, and automatically provides reports to anybody, anywhere.
Upon completion of this workshop, you be able to:
Configure Dream Report to extract data from various Wonderware data sources –
InTouch, Historian, WWALMDB and InTouch historical log (.LGH) files
Create a PDF, Excel and Web-formatted report with the core Dream Report reporting
- Single Data Objects
- Item, Step, Alarm and Automatic Statistical Tables
- Line Chart
- Dynamic Text Objects
Automatically generate and distribute the report – by schedule, and real-time event
Use the DRWeb portal for report visualization, generation and manual data entry
- Create dynamic web reports, enabling the user to interact with the reports
- Design a web form for manual (operator) data entry
Back-up your reporting project
This workshop is for end-users, system integrators, engineers, and technical professionals who
need an introduction to the capabilities of Dream Report for plant and process reporting
