How to duplicate and rename an object in the Wonderware System Platform IDE.

1 Export the required User Defined Object in the Wonderware System Platform IDE and name this accordingly.

 

 

 

 

2 Rename the User defined Object in the IDE as seen below.

 

 

3 You will now import the User Defined Object previously saved.

 

 

 

4 Leave the Import Preferences on the default settings.

 

 

5 You now have the same 2 User Defined Objects with different names.
