TN - 1276 InTouchViewApps Fail to Deploy after Migration

Description

This article from InSource shows how to resolve errors on deployment for AVEVA Application Server.  The galaxy was migrated from release 2014 R2 SP1 to 2020 R2 SP1.  Many missing DLL error messages were logged to the ArchestrA System Management Console (SMC) during deployment.  The InTouchViewApps fail to deploy properly.

Double-clicking one of the "Could not..." Error messages opens the message detail related to an Invensys_Systems__Inc__SQLDataGridUserCtrl.dll.

Double-clicking another error message from the SMC shows one related to a Microsoft_Corporation__System.Windows.Forms.dll.

Two other error messages were related to missing Invensys_Systems__Inc_eac.dll and Invensys_Systems__Inc__RealtimeTrend.dll files.

The following folders were found to be missing from the new galaxy repository installation.

Each of these folders was copied from the old 2014 R2 SP1 galaxy repository server.  This resolved the deployment issue for the InTouchViewApps.
