This process may be necessary if you wish to change the Interpolation type for an individual tag but not all tags of that type.

Step 1) Launch the SMC and navigate to Configuration Editor \ System Configuration \ Parameters \ Data Acquisition \ IDAS \ IO Server \ Topic:

Step 2)  Right click on the tag you wish to change and select "Properties":

Step 3) Select the desired Interpolation Type and then click "Apply" and "OK":

Step 4) Right click on Configuration Editor and choose "Commit Pending Changes":

Step 5) Click the "Commit" button:
