Details

By default, the Wonderware Historian returns all Integer values with the "Stairstep" Interpolation type. This tech note walks through the process for switching to "Linear".


Step 1)  Launch the System Management Console and navigate to the Configuration Editor \ System Configuration \ Parameters:

Step 2) Find the parameter InterpolationTypeInteger and double click on it:

Step 3)  Type in a value of 1 for Linear Interpolation and click "Apply" and then "OK".   If you wish to switch to stairstep Interpolation you would enter a value of 0 here.

Step 4) Right click on the Configuration Editor in the tree and choose "Commit Pending Changes":

Step 5) Click the Commit button:
